Meditation for Mummas is finally here!
I started meditating about 7 year ago, during a time when I had chronic insomnia and was experiencing daily panic attacks, which lead to being diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder. Thinking about that time now makes me sick to my stomach; I’m actually still traumatised by it.
However, it was also a turning point in my life, that literally changed its course of direction for the good. Because I started meditating. And seeing a Naturopath for guidance. And it was soon after that point, that I enrolled to do my Bachelor in Naturopathy at Endeavour College. And after meditating for a couple of years and noticing the dramatic change in my thoughts and anxiety, I enrolled into Meditation Teacher Training through The School of Positive Transformation.
So I often say that my anxiety is/was the best thing that ever happened to me, as I love where my life is at now. I am studying something that literally lights my soul on fire, and I now have the opportunity to teach the world a simple meditation technique that has literally changed the way I live my life.
This technique can be learned by anyone. However, I have geared it to mums, as I am one. And it has been challenging to continue my meditation practice while having a Bub (particularly on my own). So this technique can be done at any time, anywhere, for as long as you can manage. It is perfect in its imperfections, and you really cannot get it wrong.
